Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday were recently seen in Shakun Batra’s directorial 'Gehraiyaan', which was released last week. The complex relationship drama got mixed reactions from the audience and critics. As part of its promotions, both the ladies did a stunning photoshoot underwater and beautiful glimpses of it are breaking the internet. Deepika- Ananya channeled their inner mermaid as they posed with style and perfection for an underwater shoot.
Taking to their respective Instagram handles, the duo shared a couple of breathtaking photos from their shoot. The Student of the Year 2 actress looks ravishing in a white coloured tie-up bikini. Alongside the clicks, she wrote, “जलपरी #GehraiyaanOnPrime, watch now!” Notably, Malaika Arora, Suhana Khan, Amrita Arora, Shanaya Kapoor and others showered love on Ananya in the comments section. Deepika, on the other hand, looked drop-dead gorgeous in an orange monokini. Her post read, “Sometimes, the safest place to be is underwater… - Marisa Reichardt.”
Needless to say, both the actresses are a sight to behold in this underwater shoot. On Friday, Deepika penned a note saying that she is ‘grateful and humbled’ for the overwhelmed response Gehraiyaan has got. She shared a couple of her photos from the movie and wrote, “The response to Gehraiyaan has been dizzying to say the least! ‘Alisha’ has been my most visceral, indelible and delicious experience as an artist. While I am ecstatic and overwhelmed, I am also truly grateful and humbled.”
Also starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa, Gehraiyaan was released on Amazon Prime Video. It narrated a modern-day love story that tackles relationships and infidelity.
