Deepika Padukone made heads turn in Louis Vuitton’s gown and Cartier jewelry!
Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone made Indians super proud with her debut at the prestigious Oscars 2023. She is the third Indian actor to present an award at the ceremony, creating history. For the event, the Piku actress put her best foot forward and wore Louis Vuitton’s off-shoulder black velvet gown featuring a mermaid silhouette. She styled her look with a Cartier necklace that featured a beautiful pear-shaped yellow diamond along with a matching diamond bracelet and ring.
Padukone looked drop-dead gorgeous at the awards and her look is winning hearts on social media. Her Cartier's rare 67.18-carat yellow sapphire and diamond necklace is said to be very expensive. To amp up her look, the 36-year-old opted for Audrey Hepburn-esque cat wing, contoured cheekbones, and matte pink lips. She even flaunted her new 82°E tattoo. Deepika took the Oscars stage by storm as she introduced the highly-anticipated performance of ‘Naatu Naatu’ and the historic nomination of RRR in the Original Song category. Speaking about the song, she said, “An irresistibly catchy chorus, electrifying beats, and killer dance moves to match have made this next song a global sensation. It plays during a pivotal scene in RRR, a movie about the friendship between real-life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. It’s got millions of views on YouTube and Tiktok, has audiences dancing in movie theatres all around the world, and is also the first song ever from an Indian production to be nominated for an Oscar.”
Deepika was invited to the Oscar awards ceremony as a presenter. Last year, she was a jury member at the Cannes Film Festival.
