Deepika Padukone has managed to carve her niche in Bollywood by delivering some stellar performances. One such performance of the actress that was widely appreciated by fans and critics was in film Cocktail. Padukone essayed the character of ‘Veronica’ in the 2012 film, a free-spirited party girl who is a fashion photographer, by profession. As film Cocktail clocks 8 years since it’s release today, Deepika celebrates her character as ‘Veronica’ and the movie release by changing social media handle name and picture.
On Instagram, Deepika Padukone changed her account name to ‘Veronica’ as film Cocktail clocked 8 years since it’s release. Not only did the actress change her account name, but she also changed her profile picture. Deepika changed her Instagram profile picture to a shot of her from the film, dressed as Veronica.
Meanwhile, Deepika not only changed her account name and the profile picture on Instagram but also made necessary changes on her official Twitter handle. Check out the changes below:
Apart from making sure she celebrated her character of Veronica from Cocktail, the actress also made a special post on Instagram. Sharing a video, Deepika wrote, “8 Years of Cocktail Often I’m asked if there is a moment I would like to relive...The answer is YES! #8YearsOfCocktail.” In the post, the actress mentioned how often she is asked if there is a moment she would like to relieve, she said, “Yes,” revealing that she wants to relieve her days of shooting Cocktail. Directed by Homi Adajania, the film Cocktail starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty in pivotal roles. The film also features Dimple Kapadia, Boman Irani and Randeep Hooda. Produced by Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan, Cocktail released in theatres on July 13, 2012.
