Deepika Padukone Heads Back From Goa To Mumbai In A Charter Plane; Actress Has Agreed To Be Part Of NCB Investigation
After the Narcotics Control Bureau sent out a summon to actress Deepika Padukone with her name being emerged in the drug nexus, the actress has left from Goa today to be back in Mumbai.  As per reports in ABP Live the actress got special permission for a charter plane to fly back in town. The actress has to appear in front of the agency investigating the drug case on September 25. The actress came under the radar after her chats with Talent management firm, KWAN's employee supposedly asking for hash came to light.

As per reports in NDTV, a team stationed outside the hotel where Deepika was put up as she shot for Shakun Batra’s next in Goa, reported about the actress leaving in a car, followed by heading to the Goa airport. Though the video did not have clear visuals of the actress, one can see cars leaving the hotel premises with the said channel reporting about the same. Deepika had flown to Goa on August 11, to begin the shoot of Shakun Batra’s next.

India TV also reported that Deepika has replied to the NCB summon and she has agreed to join the investigation. After Deepika’s name emerged in this case, husband-actor Ranveer Singh was massively trolled on the internet. 

Also meanwhile departing from Goa was actress Sara Ali Khan along with her mother-senior actress Amrita Singh and brother Ibrahim by her side. Sara too has been sent a summon by the NCB after her name was also mentioned in the current drug nexus case which has come to light.
