Many might see the Coronavirus lockdown unbearable and intolerable, however, it has proved otherwise for actor Deepika Padukone, in fact, the lockdown was a blessing in disguise for her. In an interview, Deepika revealed that she is certainly not complaining about the lockdown as she got to spend the most amount of time with actor husband Ranveer Singh ever since their marriage two years ago. She even thanked God for getting locked with her husband in this difficult time when most of the people didn't receive this privilege as it wreaked havoc on a lot of people.
"Absolutely. We were certainly not complaining," she says. The Chhapaak actor further quipped, "It (lockdown) has, of course, been a difficult time for a lot of people. And that’s why, the one thing that I absolutely feel, this year, is gratitude. Just to be able to be at home with each other, and being safe is a blessing. Thank God, we didn’t get locked down without each other, which happened to quite a few people. So, what more can we ask for," Deepika told HT.
Deepika has resumed her work commitments. A while ago, the 34-years-old actor was in Goa shooting for Shakun Batra's next and as she has kickstarted her work, the makers on the sets are taking extra care owing to the Coronavirus scare. Deepika admitted that by now, all the protocols etc. have “kind of become second nature.”

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will essay the role of husband and wife in Kabir Khan's '83. The film also marks their first film as husband and wife together. Apart from this film, she has Shakun Batra's untitled next alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday, and another project with Baahubali star Prabhas.
