The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is currently probing the drugs angle in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case and have arrested a few so far. As the NCB continues to investigate the case, it was recently that names of several Bollywood celebrities surfaced. It was later reported by Times Now that during Rhea Chakraborty’s interrogation, in her statement, she named B-Town actress including Simone Khambatta. Now, the latest reports state that designer Simone Khambatta has arrived for questioning at the NCB office in connection to the drugs angle. While Deepika Padukone’s name has also surfaced, it was reported that the Chhapaak actress is expected to leave for the city soon.

Republic reported that Simone Khambatta has finally arrived for questioning at the NCB office today. The report also states that apart from designer Simone, Rakul Preet Singh was also summoned by the NCB at 11:30 AM on Thursday. It was reported that the NCB will also question SSR’s former manager Shruti Modi today. As per the reports, the actresses Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor were also sent summons by the NCB. The report states that the Piku star is summoned for questioning at the NCB office tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Times Now reported that Deepika Padukone is expected to leave for Mumbai soon. The report states that the actress will leave on a chartered plane from Goa. Deepika is currently shooting for a film in Goa. Reportedly, Padukone will leave at 1:30 PM from Goa to Mumbai. As per reports, yesterday, the shooting of the film was stalled as Deepika’s name surfaced in the alleged drug chats.

So far, the NCB has arrested actress Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, SSR’s housekeeper Dipesh Sawant, SSR’s house manager Samuel Miranda, and drug peddlers in connection with the drugs angle.
