Deepika Padukone Reveals A 'Weird' Detail About Her Bachelorette Party Before Her Lavish Wedding To Ranveer Singh

Deepika Padukone is one of the most loved, and talented actresses in Bollywood. The actress has charmed audiences with her performances in films over the years and has won hearts since her 2007 debut film Om Shanti Om. Deepika marked her Bollywood debut with the Farah Khan film co-starring alongside Shah Rukh Khan which turned a huge hit. The actress met husband Ranveer Singh on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki RaasLeela- RamLeela and was in a relationship since then for 6 years. Revealing details on her bachelorette party, Deepika recently shared information on what she did before her wedding to Ranveer Singh.
The Bajirao Mastani actress tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Ranveer Singh last year in a private and lavish wedding ceremony at Lake Como in Italy. While Deepika and Ranveer broke hearts after they married each other in November last year, the couple often treats fans with PDA pictures and lots more on social media and at events. The actress recently turned cover girl for Harper’s Bazaar, India’s October issue and revealed details about her bachelorette in an interview which will leave you in surprise. Speaking of the time before her wedding day, Deepika shared how in today’s context she could be considered a weird person as when she was on her bachelorette all she did was do laundry twice a day. The actress then added, “So I suppose I am weird.”
Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding saw only close friends and relatives and was arranged by the actors themselves. The wedding ceremony was performed in Sindhi and Konkani traditions followed by families of both actors. During the interview with the magazine, the actress also disclosed about herself and how she has evolved over the years. She added how she is an extremely intuitive, vulnerable and sensitive person. The actress mentioned how for years she kept all of it within her but now she has learned to express things more. Deepika also added how she has always been an old soul. On the work front, Deepika Padukone will be seen in director Kabir Khan’s film ’83 and will be playing husband Ranveer Singh’s on-screen wife in it. The actress has also bagged Meghna Gulzar’s film Chhapaak based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
