Deepika Padukone’s Name Surfaces In Alleged Drugs Chat: Actress Had Once Called Her Husband Ranveer Singh Her ‘Super Drug’
The Narcotics Control Bureau has been investigating the drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. After Rhea Chakraborty’s arrest by the NCB, several names of Bollywood celebrities have allegedly emerged in the drugs case. Times Now had earlier reported that Rhea Chakraborty named Bollywood actresses Sara Ali Khan and  Rakul Preet Singh. Yesterday, Deepika Padukone’s name also surfaced after her alleged WhatsApp chats with manager Karishma Prakash from 2017, were accessed by Times Now.

Deepika Padukone had once called her hubby Ranveer Singh her ‘super drug’. It was back in November 2019, Deepika Padukone took to her Instagram to share a snap that featured Ranveer Singh’s back. The tee he had on read, “Love is a Super Power.” Sharing this picture, Deepika Padukone, in her caption, had called him her ‘super drug.’ She had written, “& you...my super drug!"

Meanwhile, after Deepika Padukone’s name surfaced in the alleged drugs chat, Republic reported that the actress is likely to release a statement soon. The report stated that Deepika will give out her stand on the same. Meanwhile, it was also reported that the actress will likely be summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau this week.

Times Now has also reported that Bollywood producer Madhu Mantena has been named by Jaya Saha in the drugs case, and that he will reportedly be summoned by the NCB on Wednesday.
