Deepika Padukone embarked on a spiritual journey on Thursday evening, arriving in Tirumala alongside her sister Anisha to seek blessings from Lord Venkateswara ahead of the release of her forthcoming aerial action thriller Fighter. Social media was abuzz with various videos and images capturing the Padmaavat star's visit to Tirumala, where she was seen arriving with her sister. Clad in a black co-ord set and sporting a casual yet stylish messy bun, the Bollywood diva is set to continue her spiritual journey on Friday morning by offering prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple. This revered temple is dedicated to Venkateswara, an incarnation of Vishnu believed to have descended to Earth to alleviate humanity from the challenges of the Kali Yuga era. Consequently, the temple is often referred to as Kaliyuga Vaikuntha, and the deity worshipped there is revered as Kaliyuga Prathyaksha Daivam. ALSO READ: Fighter Teaser Out! The makers of the film recently unveiled its official teaser, sparking an immense response from fans. Lasting 1 minute and 14 seconds, the teaser showcased Hrithik portraying Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania aka Patty, Deepika as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore aka Minni, and Anil as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh aka Rocky in their patriotic avatars fighting for the country. Notably absent from the teaser was Karan.

The teaser offered glimpses of the lead cast soaring high in their jets, engaging in daring aerial stunts. It teased a vibrant party track featuring the ensemble cast and highlighted a passionate kissing scene between the protagonists - Hrithik and Deepika. Concluding on an exhilarating note, the teaser ended with the stirring tune of Sujlam Suflam playing in the background as Hrithik unfurls a tricolor from his aircraft.
Fighter is slated to release on January 25 next year. Apart from this, the actress will also be seen in the upcoming sci-fi action film Kalki 2898 AD opposite Prabhas.
