Deepika Padukone Takes An Indirect Dig At Influencer Freddy Birdy After He Shared A Sarcastic Post On Her Film 'Gehraiyaan'
Deepika Padukone is currently busy promoting her film Gehraiyaan. The actress is turning heads with her stunning promotional outfits. Taking to Instagram, influencer Freddy Birdy had recently shared a sarcastic post that read, "Newton's Law of Bollywood. The clothes will get tinier as the Gehraiyaan release date approaches." A part of the caption read, "Necklines and hemlines are Gehraiyaan." The post went viral within seconds and it didn't go down well with DP's fans.

Deepika now took an indirect jibe at the influencer for his comment. The actress took to her Instagram stories to share a post that read, "Scientists say, the Universe is made of protons, neutrons, and electrons. They forgot to mention morons." Freddy's post was liked by Mrunal Thakur among others. Fans slammed the actress for liking a 'sexist' post about 'tiny clothes' worn at Gehraiyaan promotions.

She also got into a Twitter spat with a fan of DP. The fan had shared a post about Mrunal liking the post. On which she commented, "Get well soon." In another tweet, she wrote, "Bhai you are so mentally sick I wish I could get you some flowers and slam it on your face and thank you for spreading hate! Just to let you know I admire Deepika. Having said that I feel you must get yourself a life, rather than sitting at home and spreading hate, spread love!"

Talking about Gehraiyaan, apart from Deepika, it also stars Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Dhairya Karwa, Nawauddin Siddiqui and Rajat Kapur. Directed by Shakun Batra, Gehraiyaan will have its world premiere on Amazon Prime Video on February 11.
