Social media is an interesting place. It’s often seen that pictures and videos of celebrities going about their day goes viral on the internet. While some get bashed for their rude behaviours, others are hailed for their humble personality, especially when they stop to interact with fans after a tiresome day. Well, recently Deepika Padukone won the hearts of many when a video of her travelling in economy class alongside her bodyguard went viral on social media.

Not only did the fans hail her as an ‘down-to-earth actress,’ but shortly after a fan took to their social media handle to share a selfie with the diva. Varun Kumar Gurunath, took to Instagram and wrote, “What an ending to a family trip. Many of you have been asking about this so here it goes. My mom went "that's someone!" And I said yeah that someone is Deepika Padukone! Deepika started the convo and asked if we had a good flight. I congratulated her on Pathaan and she said "that's so sweet, thank you." We said safe travels and she said "You as well, and it was nice to meet you." Super friendly and extremely nice even with a quick interaction. Despite a 16 hour journey, she was so willing to meet with her fans. This is not the first time, Bollywood celebrities were snapped ditching the luxury of business class to travel in economy. Earlier it was Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif who had grabbed the headlines for travelling in economy class, however, instead of hailing the duo for their simplicity, the actress was brutally trolled. 

On the work front, last seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback movie Pathaan, which also stars John Abraham, Deepika Padukone will be seen in Project K alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani and Fighter alongside Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor.
