Deepika To Clash With Sunny!
Deepika Padukone and Sunny Leone will come face to face. At the box-office, that is.
The release date of Piku, which stars Deepika Padukone along with Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan, has been pushed to May 8 fromApril 30, the day Sunny Leone and Ram Kapoor’s comedy Kuch Kuch Locha Hai releases. Piku, an intense drama revolving around a father and a daughter, was originally clashing with Gabbar is Back (earlier Main Gabbar), that toplines Akshay Kumar. Gabbar is Back, after incessant delays, had settled for a release date of May 1. But now, Deepika has chosen to compete with Sunny instead.
Piku was shot across Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata and wrapped up earlier this year. Currently, Deepika is shooting war sequences for Bajirao Mastani in and around Jaipur. The actress, however, has assured the producers of Piku that she will take three weeks off from her Bajirao Mastani schedule to promote the film.
