Delhi Crime 2: Netflix Orders Major Portions Of The Show To Be Reshot, Will We Get Second Season? -Report
The first season of Delhi Crime had received a great response from the audiences, as well as critics. Based on the Nirbhaya murder case, Delhi Crime starred Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal and Rajesh Tailang. The second season of the web show has been making headlines for multiple reasons. According to a BollywoodLife report, Netflix is extremely displeased with whatever output they're receiving for the second season and have repeatedly been ordering for massive portions of the show to be reshot.

It is one of the major reasons behind the delayed release. Reportedly, this is the second such broad reshoot ordered by Netflix India for Delhi Crime makers as the streaming service doesn't seem satisfied with what creative producer Rajesh Mapuskar and showrunner Tanuj Chopra are delivering.

Besides that, there isn't talk of the series being scrapped as Netflix knows how much of a flagships show Delhi Crime is for it. The first season had received an amazing response. It was a hit. For the uninitiated, the web show even won an international Emmy in Best Drama Series. ALSO READ:Kim Kardashian Slammed For Editing Her Waist In Poolside Photos, Netizens Point Out Photoshop Fail!

Netflix hasn't had the best of times of late. The OTT giant has been dwindling numbers all across the board, with both rating and subscribers falling drastically in India. Taking everything into consideration, Netflix is now all set to take some big steps.

The first season of Delhi Crime was directed by Richie Mehta and Shefali Shah playing the role of DCP Vartika Chaturvedi. In an interview with SheThePeople, Shefali had opened up about her role. She said that the role of Vartika Chaturvedi was a "most exhausting and enriching experience. I realised that there is a certain sense of balance as another woman takes up her fight."
