Since a couple of years, we have seen a good rise in the number of star-kids making a foray into films. And there’s no stopping as one more joins the list. It’s none other than late legendary actor-filmmaker Dev Anand’s grandson, Rishi Anand.

Rishi will be making his big screen debut in the remake of Govinda starrer Saajan Chale Sasural. The second part will also star Chunky Panday, Arya Babbar, Hemant Pandey, Sonal Monteiro and Ishita Raj in pivotal parts. Mansoor Ahmed Siddiqui, the producer of the original flick will be producing the remake as well.

In a statement to IANS, Rishi said, “I am very excited. It’s too early to comment anything more on the film.” The original movie had released in 1996. It was directed by David Dhawan and was a rom-com starring Govinda, Karisma Kapoor, Tabu, the late Kader Khan and Satish Kaushik.

Speaking of Rishi Anand, he is the son of actor-filmmaker Suneil Anand, the only son of Dev Anand.
