Recently, fans caught a glimpse of the much-awaited trailer of Kartik Aaryan's ‘Dhamaka’. The actor who reigned over the romantic-comedy genre has finally stepped out of his lover boy image, and from the looks of it, Dhamaka can well be the turning point of his career.

Dhamaka will see Kartik showcase a never seen before avatar of a journalist. He plays a TV anchor in the film, directed by Ram Madhvani. The actor has been making headlines ever since the film’s teaser came out.
Now, the Dhamaka team has suffered another setback following the film’s release on OTT platform Netflix today. The film as fallen prey to piracy on the day of its release.
The Kartik Aaryan star has been leaked online in full HD for free download on Tamilrockers, Filmyzilla, Telegram and more such piracy sites and torrents for free viewing. This ultimately impacts its box office numbers.
However, Dhamaka is not the only film that has fallen prey to online piracy. There are movies released recently, like Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi, Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe, Dulquer Salmaan’s Kurup and Suriya’s Jai Bhim, that were also leaked online for free download and viewing on Tamilrockers and more sites.
Well, looking at the current scenario, this just calls for more stringent laws and actions against those indulging in this malpractice.
