Dhanush Wishes To Do A Film With Ranbir Kapoor, Says ‘He's A Very Fine Performer’; Filmmakers And RK Are You Listening?
Dhanush, in a recent interaction, expressed his desire to work with Ranbir Kapoor.
Dhanush can be rightfully termed as of of the most artistically gifted actors, who is gradully carving a space for himself in Bollywood. The actor has time and time again selected unconventional roles and excelled in them. Currently, he is on a promotional spree for his upcoming film 'Atrangi Re' which also stars Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles.
Helmed by his Raanjhanaa director Aanand L. Rai, the romantic film marks the Tamil cinema star’s third Bollywood movie.
However, during a recent interaction, the south superstar has also expressed his desire to work with Ranbir Kapoor. When asked who's on his wishlist in Bollywood with whom he'd love to a Hindi film next, Dhanush without any delay said, “Ranbir Kapoor.”
When further probed over the reasons he desires to share screen space with Ranbir Kapoor, the Shamitabh actor highlighted, “I think he's a very fine performer and I would like to be in the same frame as Ranbir Kapoor and see what explodes.”
Well, Ranbir and Dhanush’s film might definitely blow box office numbers and all previous records are likely to be broken.
Dhanush sheepishly smiled and concluded, “Well, you never known (laughs a bit), anything can happen, but I would love to see what happens if Ranbir and I and in the same frame.”
Atrangi Re is a musical romantic drama set to release on December 24, on Disney plus Hotstar. The movie was originally supposed to be released in theatres on February 14, 2021, coinciding with Valentine’s day but got postponed as the pandemic hit the production and post-production. The film will also have a Tamil dubbed version titled Galatta Kalyanam.
