Diana Bags Rock On 2!!

Diana Penty’s career lull seems to be over. We had earlier reported that she has signed director Mudassar Azizs forthcoming film (SpotboyE.com, December 26). Now, we hear that she has bagged a bigger project and may move out of Mudassars film.
The former model has been cast as the second lead in Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwanis production Rock On 2!! She has replaced Shahana Goswami and will be paired with Arjun Rampal, who played the second lead in the first outing.
A source says, “The story demands a fresh set of faces and Diana has not been over exposed. Its a meaty part and she is excited about it.”
Pulkit Samrat has also been cast in a pivotal role in the film that goes on floors sometime in the second half of the year. The casting team is in talks with a few models and one-film-old girls to cast them opposite Pulkit and Purab Kohli, who had also played an important part in the 2008 film.
