Diana Penty Says 'No Shame' In Talking About It After Divya Agarwal Is Period Shamed, Asked 'How Many Sanitary Pads In A Day?'
Menstruation has always been a taboo in the country since inception. A movie was also based on menstruation featured by Akshay Kumar but the subject is still considered to be a taboo. Speaking about the same, recently, Diana Penty has joined a Red Dot Challenge which is about putting a ‘period’ to period shaming. This movement started when a couple of days ago, TV reality show actress Divya Agarwal was period shamed when she posted a picture of her beau Varun Sood and wrote about her period days on her Instagram story.

A social media user tried to period shame her and asked her to have some manners and asking why is she disclosing her private things on social media. In her next Insta story, she went on to school such trolls and wrote, “I’m on periods. Moody, yes, but I really wish to educate people. Shut up n pamper the girls around you dealing with it every month!” As this has now become a rage on social media, even Diana joined this movement so that more people are educated by this and that they can put a ‘period’ to period shaming.

While sharing a monochrome picture of herself with a red dot on her palm, she backed the picture with, “It’s about time we put a ‘period’ to period shaming. Cos there’s no shame in it @post.for.change @unicefindia #RedDotChallenge #PostForChange” Check out the picture below:

Seeing this moment, we saw quite a few male users supporting the cause and have nice things to say about this. One user wrote, “God has given this gift to womens so that they can give us new lives and make every man's world complete.” Another one finds this amazing and he wrote, “Absolutely...it's a sacred and amazing biological process honoring the divine feminine.” We saw another man writing, “Bravoooo!! This will mean a lot to so many young girls.” ALSO READ: Divya Agarwal On Menstruation Post: 'After Giving It Back To Trolls, I Am Recieving Worse Messages'- EXCLUSIVE
