The 29-year old actress returns to Bollywood after two-and-half years.
After a successful debut in Homi Adajania's Cocktail (2012), Diana Penty mixed her professional and personal life. She chose to toe her possessive boyfriend Harsh Sagar's (diamond merchant) line, who wanted her to do very few films.
The leggy lass turned down films opposite Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan, and even Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo opposite Salman Khan. Buzz was, she would soon get married to Harsh.
But all that is a thing of the past. Diana has signed Mudassar Aziz's next.
Mudassar, who earlier dated Sushmita Sen and directed Dulha Mil Gaya, is ready to roll his new project which is a love story.
A source close to Diana says, "Diana plays the lead in Mudassar's film."
So what led to Diana's new POA (Plan of Action)? Have Harsh and she parted ways? Or has Harsh become more accepting of Bollywood?
A source close to Diana says, "Nobody except Diana knows yet what led her to return to films. But one thing is certain. She has not only become serious about her career but will remain focussed on it hereafter."
