Disha Patani, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Kemmu and Anil Kapoor starrer Malang has got everyone talking after their unleashed the madness, we mean the trailer of the film online. Be it Disha and Aditya's sizzling chemistry or the psychological thriller concept, movie buffs are pretty intrigued to see this film. But have you imagined how Aditya and Kriti Sanon would have looked like in Malang? Well, we are saying this because Kriti was the original choice for the film before Disha came onboard.
According to Times Of India, Kriti Sanon had walked about of Malang and opted for Housefull 4 and Panipat instead. It is said the actress had date issues and hence couldn't do Disha Patani and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer, said the director Mohit Suri. During a recent interview, Mohit Suri spoke about the casting of the psychological thriller and said that they had approached Kriti and she went through the script and just when they were planning the dates, it didn’t work out with her. Mohit also dismissed the reports of Kriti walking out of the film as he was quoted by the portal, saying, “As a director, my job was to reach out to an actor. I did that, but then she also received offers for Housefull 4 and Panipat," adding, “Kriti really wanted to do Malang, but she had to let go of it and choose other films instead.”
Helmed by Aashiqui 2 director Mohit Suri, the revenge drama Malang is all set to hit the theatres on February 7, 2020. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg, and Jay Shewakramani.
