Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa’s wedding has been the talk of the town for all the right reasons. The lovebirds exchanged vows in Chandigarh on November 15, 2021, in an intimate ceremony with their families and close friends in attendance. Pictures from their dreamy wedding and reception are out and they have taken social media by storm. Patralekhaa looked drop-dead gorgeous on her wedding and reception day. Notably, what has caught everyone’s fancy, is the actress’ reception look which seems to be inspired by Deepika Padukone’s reception look.
In the photos, the newlywed Patralekhaa bears an uncanny resemblance with Deepika’s Bengaluru reception look. For the unversed, the Piku actress, on her reception, wore golden coloured Sabyasachi silk saree with a heavy neckpiece. Deepika tied her hair in a neat bun and kept her makeup subtle.
Patralekhaa too opted for a somewhat similar look. She donned a cream coloured saree with gold zari work all over it. Another commonality between Deepika and Patralekhaa’s reception looks are their choice of blouses. Both the actresses wore blouses that had full sleeves, although the color of blouses is different.
Like Deepika, Patralekhaa also opted for a heavy choker set with emeralds embellished and round matching emerald studded earrings. Their choice for the hairdo was similar – tying it in a sleek bun and accessorizing it with flowers. While Deepika chose white flowers for her gajra, Patralekhaa opted for red flowers. Both the actresses wore the sindoor in a rather similar fashion- parting their hair and then applying it in their forehead. The red bindi enhanced the overall look for both of them.

Following a low-key wedding, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa hosted a grand reception in the city. It was attended by their family members and friends. Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar also graced the wedding and gave his blessings to the couple. The CM also shared a photo of the newlyweds posing with him on Instagram.
