Did Sara Ali Khan Get Dropped From Tiger Shroff's Heropanti 2 After She Was Summoned By NCB In Drug Nexus Case?

A drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case led the Narcotics Control Bureau to investigate the alleged drugs nexus prevailing in Bollywood. Many arrests were done by the NCB, and a few Bollywood celebrities were summoned for interrogation. Big stars like Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor were called in by the investigating body for questioning. All the three ladies were called on the same day by the Narcotics Control Bureau. Now, reportedly, Sara Ali Khan's name cropping up in front of NCB has cost her a film.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, Sara Ali Khan had to be dropped out of Heropanti 2 that starred Tiger Shoff in the lead. Instead, the film is said to have fallen in Tara Sutaria's kitty. A source has quoted, "Sara was immediately dropped from Heropanti 2. Tiger Shroff who shares a warm bond with his Student of The Year 2 co-star Tara Sutaria told the producers to sign Tara instead. Tara, being an outsider with no family backing, served as the perfect replacement for Sara. While the makers didn't want to do this, they also had no choice but to go ahead with this plan in order to save the project."
Heropanti 2 is helmed by Ahmed Khan and reportedly, Tiger will soon begin shooting for the same in UAE. Tiger and Tara have shared the screen space in Student of The Year 2 and their chemistry was much appreciated.
Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan is gearing up for the release of her film Cookie No 1. She will be seen opposite Varun Dhawan in this one. It is set to have a Christmas release. Sara has also started work on her project with Akshay Kumar titled Atrangi Re. The first look of Atrangi Re was recently shared by the actress.
