Did Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput just ignore the precautionary measures for Covid-19? The couple over the weekend was seen hitting the gym, contrary to the suggestive measures asked by the government to stay back at home and avoid public places which also includes gyms. The duo was out at a gym in Bandra for almost two hours as per reports in a leading tabloid. Adding more to it was the gym being exclusively opened for the couple which was declared to remain close for the people.
Now clarifying the entire scenario to Mumbai Mirror, gym owner Yudhishthir Jaising confirmed of the actor being at the gym, but not for workout. Instead, the actor was at the gym to pick up certain gym equipment which he ordered post suffering an injury. Also, the gym trainer who happens to be the actor’s friend was instructing him on how to use it. The duo was figuring out ways and means to work out together as well.
Yudhishthir Jaising was quoted saying, “He has been shooting in Chandigarh and had asked me to get some equipment after he sustained an injury (tendonitis). I was showing him the right way to use the equipment. In any case, we work out and train together at each other's houses.”
Also confirming further he mentioned of Mira and Shahid not breaking any rule by working out in the gym, despite being closed. “It was only Shahid, Mira and me... just friends chilling on a Sunday evening,” he added.
