Riteish Deshmukh-Pulkit Samrat-Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Bangistan, which was supposed to hit the theatres on July 31, will now see the light of day on August 7.
Riteish took to Twitter to announce the new release date.
According to debutant Karan Anshuman who wielded the megaphone, Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan's stupendous success has delayed his film. "BB is still making lots of money, so we couldn't get a good number of theatres to showcase our film July 31 onward," he says.
Owner of Gaiety-Galaxy, Manoj Desai, says, "BB is going super strong. And why are you forgetting Bahubali? Also, how can you discount Ajay Devgn's Drishyam which releases on July 31 and whose reports are very good?"
We think Karan and his film's producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani have been wise.
