Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has become a trending topic on social media, courtesy of, her old video where she talked about being removed from five films. Yes, you read that right! Aish in an old interview revealed that she was removed from five films opposite Shah Rukh Khan including ‘Veer Zara’ and ‘Chalte Chalte’. This old interview of the actress has gone viral days after Priyanka Chopra revealed she was ‘being pushed into a corner Bollywood.
During her appearance on Simi Garewal’s show, the Taal actress expressed her shock at being removed from 5 movies. The host Simi asked her, “You were working together in five films, weren't you? Aish. Veer Zara was written for you.” Replying to this, Aishwarya had said, “There were a couple of films that were supposed to happen with me. But suddenly they weren't happening, without any reason whatsoever. I have never had the answer to why.” She went on to reveal that it was not her decision to move out from these films. “No, it wasn't my decision. You obviously are taken aback, confused and of course hurt. You wonder about it.”
Reportedly, Aishwarya was supposed to play the female lead opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the 2003 romantic drama Chalte Chalte. She had even shot some portions of the film before she was replaced overnight 'without any explanation'. She was even removed from Yash Chopra’s directorial Veer Zaara, which was a hit at the box office.
