The two got married in an intimate ceremony on December 9, 2021, in Rajasthan. The couple also gave beautiful glimpses of them from the mandap and pre-wedding ceremonies via breathtaking photos on social media. On her big day, the actress wore a heavily embellished red lehenga. Yes, you read that right! In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, designer Anaita Shroff Adajania, who styled Katrina’s wedding outfit, revealed that her bridal wear also gave a nod to Vicky's Punjabi roots. She also revealed that it was the newlywed’s dream to wear red and that Katrina's kaleeras were also customized in red colour. Anaita was quoted saying, “The planning was going on for months. Everything was pretty organic. We would sit together, talk and ideate but the actual fieldwork and execution were done in a short span, pretty close to the wedding.”
For the unversed, Anaita Shroff Adajania, wife of director Homi Adajania, has also worked with Bollywood celebrities such as Hrithik Roshan, and Deepika Padukone. She styled Deepika's character of Veronica in 'Cocktail' and Hrithik's character in 'Dhoom 2’.
Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal recently made headlines after they made their first public appearance as a married couple.
