In 2015 filmmaker Zoya Akhtar presented the audience with a marvelous comedy-drama, Dil Dhadakne Do starring Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar and Shefali Shah in the main lead. Released on June 5, 2015, the movie completed 5 years of its release today, hence on this day producer Ritesh Sidhwani dropped some unseen pictures of the cast and crew from the exotic shooting locations when they had a blast shooting it. Along with him actor Ranveer Singh, actresses Anushka Sharma and Shefali Shah too relieved the moments of this blockbuster flick.
Ritesh Sidhwani sharing series of pictures on his Instagram account wrote, “Looking back at the crazy, funny, loving family times as we celebrate #5YearsOfDDD” Meanwhile Ranveer Singh shared a throwback picture of him where he is seen in Dil Dhadakne Do look on his Instagram account. His caption read, “5 years of #DilDhadakneDo” Ranveer’s this post had director Zoya Akhtar commenting on it asking him to take her back to those golden days. Zoya also shared a movie still celebrating this day.
Also joining them were actress Anushka Sharma and Shefali Shah who shared pictures on their respective social media accounts.
The movie showcased a story of an elite family residing in Delhi, rediscovering their bond with one another during an international trip taken in order to celebrate the wedding anniversary of the onscreen couple played by Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah.
