Dilip Kumar Health Update: Saira Banu Says Actor’s Health Is Improving, Urges All To Pray For A Quick Recovery
Taking to Dilip’s Kumar’s Twitter handle, Saira Banu has shared an update on his health and said his condition is improving.
Last week, veteran actor Dilip Kumar was admitted to Mumbai’s Hinduja hospital after he complained of breathlessness. Since then, everyone has been praying for the actor’s speedy recovery. His wife Saira Banu, who is by his side at the hospital, has been sharing Dilip’s health updates with fans on social media. On Tuesday, the actress informed that the megastar's health is improving. Saira also requested everyone to pray for him so that he gets discharged from the hospital.
Taking to Dilip Kumar's Twitter handle, Saira tweeted, "We are grateful for God's infinite mercy on Dilip Sahib that his health is improving. We are still in hospital and request your prayers and duas so that Insha'Allah he is healthy and discharged soon. Saira Banu Khan.”
Earlier, speaking to ANI about Dilip Kumar’s health, Saira had said, “‘Dilip Kumar Sahab's health is still stable. He is still in ICU, we want him to take home but we are waiting for the doctors' approval. He will not be discharged today.”

This is the second time that Dilip Kumar had to be admitted to the hospital in June. On June 6, he was rushed to the hospital for a similar complaint. Reportedly, the legendary actor was diagnosed with bilateral pleural effusion, for which he underwent a successful aspiration procedure. On June 11, Dilip Kumar was discharged.
His family friend Faisal Farooqui also has been sharing Dilip’s health updates. In an interview with ETimes, Faisal Farooqui had said, “He is stable. He continues to be in the hospital on doctor's advice so that doctor can provide necessary medical attention given his age. The family believes he will be discharged in a day or two.”
