Legendary actor Dilip Kumar, on Tuesday morning, was admitted to Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital after he complained of breathlessness. The 98-year-old actor is currently in the ICU and is said to be stable and under observation. As per a report in Indian Express, “Dilip Kumar was brought to the hospital yesterday.
Confirming the same, a hospital source was quoted by the leading daily as saying, “Dilip Kumar was brought to the hospital yesterday, he had the same complaints that he had last time. The insider added, “Today the doctors will see him again and take a call on his line of treatment. He is in the ICU so that we can continuously monitor him. He is under observation and he is stable. There is nothing to worry.”
To note, this is the second time when Dilip Kumar has been hospitalized this month. The veteran actor was earlier admitted to the hospital on June 6, after he complained of breathlessness. Reportedly, he was diagnosed with bilateral pleural effusion. After getting his treatment done, the actor went back home on June 11.
In an earlier interview with the Hindustan Times, Saira Banu expressed her happiness after Dilip Kumar got discharged and thanked everyone for praying for his good health.
“The doctors have treated Dilip sahab. Please pray for him, he is alright, we are taking him home. Doctors have asked him to rest. They have prescribed some medicines and antibiotics that have to continue at home. Thank you for your duas,” Saira was quoted saying.
