Dimple Kapadia turned a year older today. The veteran actress who was last seen in Homi Adajani's Angrezi Medium is celebrating her 63rd birthday today. As the birthday wishes for the actress continue to pour in here’s an anecdote that many of you may not have come across. Did you more than her acting chops, Dimple Kapadia has often made headlines for losing her temper and rude behaviour? Well, here’s one of such incidents when young Kapadia had abused a boy at a movie theatre.

It so happened when 2-3 films old Dimple Kapadia was snapped at a theatre, she was soon surrounded by a large crowd. Later when some boys started teasing her, she grabbed the boy with his collar and started abusing him in Hindi. This incident happened post her marriage with superstar Rajesh Khanna. Spilling the beans on Rajesh’s reaction to the entire theatre scene, she revealed that the superstar told her that she should have abused the boys in English.

For the unversed, Dimple Kapadia married Rajesh Khanna in March 1973. However, they called it quits in 1982 and separated but never officially got divorced. The couple had met a couple of months before the release of Bobby and married immediately promoting Dimple to give up her filmy career for 11 long years. 


Meanwhile, her first Hollywood film Tenet is written and directed by filmmaker Christopher Nolan. The action-thriller movie stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh.
