Veteran actress Dimple Kapadia’s mother Betty Kapadia passed away at the age of 80, on Saturday night at Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai. She had been admitted to the hospital after she was diagnosed with a respiratory disorder. Twinkle Khanna, Akshay Kumar and Simple Kapadia’s son Karan Kapadia were spotted last night outside the hospital. Twinkle Khanna and Dimple Kapadia were also spotted this morning to oversee the funeral proceedings of Betty Kapadia.
A few weeks ago, in October, Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, Dimple Kapadia and other relatives had celebrated Betty Kapadia’s 80th birthday at Shilim. Twinkle had shared pictures from the celebration on her Instagram. In November, it had also been wrongly reported that Dimple Kapadia was hospitalized, but the actress later clarified that it wasn’t her, but her mother Betty Kapadia who was unwell, and had requested prayers for her mother.
