Divya Bharti’s Father Passes Away; Actress’ Husband Sajid Nadiadwala Was By His Side Till The End
Divya Bharti’s father no more, her husband Sajid Nadiadwala was with her father, Om Prakash Bharti till the end. He passed away on October 30
Producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala was earlier married to Divya Bharti, however, the ace actress died due to a tragic accident. On October 30, 2021, the late actress’ father Om Prakash Bharti breathed his last. As reported in Bollywood Hungama.com, Divya’s husband Sajid was by his father-in-law’s side till the end. This was followed by the Kick producer also attending his funeral the next day. Ever since Divya’s death, Sajid has treated her parents as his own. Also now with Om Prakash Bharti’s death, Sajid will be taking care of his late wife’s mother from here on. We pray for his soul to rest in peace.
Bollywood Hungama’s report read, “Sajid was by Divya’s father side when he passed away. He was at the cremation the next day. For Sajid, Om Prakash Bharti was like his own father. He calls Divya’s parents mom and dad. Now that the patriarch is gone, Sajid will look after Divya’s mom just like any son.” Divya Bharti and Sajid Nadiadwala met on the sets of Shola Aur Shabnam, starring Govinda in the lead. Following this, the two tied the knot in 1992. Divya was at the peak of her career when she married Sajid, she was just 18 years old.
In 1993 she died at the age of 19 after she fell down from the balcony of their residence on the fifth floor of a building located in Andheri.
