Dostana 2: Kartik Aaryan Begins Preps For Karan Johar’s Film Minus His Co-Star Janhvi Kapoor
Kartik Aaryan took to Instagram recently to announce that the prep for his role in Karan Johar’s film Dostana 2 has bugun! The actor will play the role of one of the two male leads in the film and the female lead will be played by Janhvi Kapoor
Karan Johar’s next film Dostana 2 has been making news ever since it was announced. At first, Kartik Aaryan was announced as the male lead and Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead of Dostana 2. A few weeks ago, Karan Johar and Dharma Productions took to Twitter and announced the second male lead- a newcomer named Lakshya. With this intriguing cast in place, fans are overly eager to watch Dostana 2. The film is a sequel of Dostana which starred John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra. This second installment is one of the most awaited films and looks like the prep has already begun!
Earlier there were reports stating that Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Dostana 2 will go on floors in October 2019. Just recently, Kartik Aaryan took to his Instagram handle to share a picture of himself where he can be seen posing with the script of the film in his hand. He mentioned in his Instagram caption that the prep for Dostana 2 has begun. The caption read, “#Dostana2 ka Prep Shuru @collindcunha.” Take a look at the picture:
In other news, Karan Johar introduced the new kid on Dharma block Lakshya, who will be the second male lead apart from Kartik Aaryan. While introducing him, Karan Johar said,“We believe in introducing new talent to the film fraternity. We are proud to have introduced over 20 first-time filmmakers and seven actors in the recent past. We are excited to introduce Lakshya, the newest addition to the family. We will be introducing him in Dostana 2. He was chosen after a series of meticulous auditions and test shoots. We are thrilled to engulf him in our creative world and look forward to creating celluloid magic together.”
