Durgavati: Akshay Kumar To Present A Horror Thriller With Bhumi Pednekar In The Lead
It’s raining horror films in Bollywood and we aren’t complaining! The most recent announcement that took place is about Durgavati, an upcoming horror-thriller film that will star Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role. Interestingly, the film is going to reunite Bhumi with her Toilet: Ek Prem Katha co-star but there’s a catch. The film is going to be presented by Akki and won’t star him. The picture sees Akshay Kumar posing alongside the entire team of Durgavati that comprises of Bhumi Pednekar, co-presenter Bhushan Kumar, producer Vikram Malhotra and director G Ashok, who is a popular name down South. In his caption, Akki wrote that Durgavati is a scary thriller and will go on floors in January next year. "Excited to announce Bhumi Pednekar in and as Durgavati. A scary-thriller, going on floor mid-January. Presented by Cape Of Good Films and Bhushan Kumar, produced by Vikram Malhotra and directed by Ashok. Need your love and luck,” read his tweet.

Bhumi Pednekar too, expressed her excitement on being a part of Durgavati. She tweeted, "I have waited so long to share this one with you. So excited to announce my next film Durgavati. A scary-thriller going on floor mid-January. Thank you Akshay sir for your constant belief in me. I am so excited for this one.”
