Kumar, via tweets had hinted about venturing into some unknown territory and trying his hands at something entirely different, which he had posted prior to his interview. Yesterday, Akshay Kumar was trending all over the Internet for his candid and non-political conversation with the PM.
Yesterday, we told you how PM Modi had made a witty comment about Twinkle Khanna always being angry with his government. And to know what Akshay felt at that time when PM made this tricky statement, Hindustan Times got in touch with the actor and asked him for a reaction. He said, “I did not know where to look. I was stumped by his wit, and the very sporting manner in which he said it. I didn’t know what to reply. I could only laugh embarrassingly and I thought to myself – ‘ek taraf biwi, ek taraf desh ka Pradhan Mantri. Both have powerful portfolios in my life. It’s best to stay quiet',"
During the conversation, when Akshay had questioned the PM Modi if he is active on social media, PM had told the Kesari actor, “Main social media zaroor dekhta hoon. Isse mujhe bahar kya chal raha hai iski jaankari milti hai.” He then added, “Main aapka bhi aur Twinkle Khanna ji ka bhi Twitter dekhta hun. Aur jis tarah se woh mujh par gussa nikalti hain toh main samajhta hoon ki isse aapke parivaar mein bahut shaanti rehti hogi." Soon after the video hit the web space, Mrs Funny Bones was quick to tweet about the same. She wrote, “I have a rather positive way of looking at this - Not only is the Prime Minister aware that I exist but he actually reads my work."
