Esha Deol Breaks The Ice With Brother Sunny Deol; Congratulates Him For Lok Sabha Elections 2019 Victory
Yesterday was a big day for Sunny Deol and family as the actor-turned-politician won the Lok Sabha 2019 Elections from his constituency, Gurdaspur, Punjab. Sunny was contesting against senior Congress leader Sunil Jakhar. But this day got even more special as sister Esha Deol wished Sunny for his victory.

In case you’re wondering why special, then let us tell you Sunny and Bobby Deol have not shared a very cordial relationship with their half-sisters, Esha and Ahana. They have had a strained relationship over the years. In fact, Sunny and Bobby did not attend Esha and Ahana’s wedding too. It was Abhay Deol, in both the weddings, who performed all the rituals of a brother. In fact, we also got to know during Esha Deol's wedding in 2012 at The Leela, Andheri East, Dharmendra got extremely upset when media questioned him why Sunny Deol is not a part of the wedding. While Esha and Ahana are born to Dharmendra’s second wife, Hema Malini, Sunny and Bobby Deol are his first wife, Prakash Kaur’s sons.

Now, after decades we spotted a rare instance where Esha initiated a conversation with Sunny and wrote on his Twitter timeline, “Congratulations @iamsunnydeol My best wishes to u always” She also posted a heart emoji with the message. Take a look:

Looks like Esha did her bit to break the ice. Not only Sunny, the Dhoom actress obviously didn’t forget to wish her mother, Hema Malini too, who won from the Mathura constituency. A proud daughter wrote, “She did it again. Congratulations and my best wishes for round 2. Ur doing a fantastic job as an Indian citizen.”

Talking about Sunny’s victory, the Gurdaspur constituency has been held by Bollywood stars over two decades now. It was represented by actor-turned-politician Vinod Khanna from 1998 until his death in 2017. After his death, there was speculation that his wife Kavita Khanna wanted to be nominated from the seat. But instead, Deol was fielded.
