Esha Deol NOT A Part Of Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi; Actress' Representative Says, 'All Reports Are Untrue'
The news of Esha Deol signing a mythological drama, Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi has been doing the rounds since some time. However, the actress has clarified she isn't a part of the show
Esha Deol will play Samridhi Devi in Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi- this news caught everyone's attention as reports claimed that Hema Malini and Dharmendra's daughter is all set to make her TV debut with this show. However, the news is completely untrue.
Esha has not signed the serial and is currently busy reading film scripts. On behalf of the actress, her representative sent us Esha's denial on the news stating, "On behalf of Esha Deol Takhtani, we would like to clarify that all reports floating around the media regarding her role in a serial is untrue. She is not playing any character in the serial. She is a devotee of Ma Vaishno Devi, and wishes everyone associated with the serial all the best. Currently, Esha is busy reading scripts for movies, web series and digital films and also excited with her new role as an author with her book Amma Mia published by Penguin Books. She will soon announce her film project, when the time is right."
Esha, who made her Bollywood debut with Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe, went on to star in many other films including blockbuster, Dhoom. The actress was seen as a gang leader in Roadies X2 (2015). Earlier, Esha's mother, actress Hema Malini, had played Maa Vaishno Devi on the show Jai Mata Ki (1999).
Well, now that Esha has denied the news, it looks like fans will have to wait to see her on the small screen just a little bit more.
