Esha Deol On Why She Chose Miraya As The Name Of Her 2nd Baby Girl
Esha Deol welcomed her 2nd angel on June 10 and named her, Miraya. During her first interview, post delivery, Esha Deol talks about why she chose Miraya as the name of her newborn daughter
Esha Deol with husband Bharat Takhtani embraced parenthood one more time. The couple, who is parenting their 2-year-old daughter Radhya, welcomed their angel on June 10 and named them Miraya. Yesterday, baby Miraya’s grandparents- Hema Malini and Dharmendra were spotted outside Hinduja hospital as they had gone to see their daughter Esha and new born baby.
Now in her first interview, post delivering baby no. 2, with Mumbai Mirror, Esha revealed why she named her 2nd daughter Miraya. She told the tabloid, “When Lord Krishna worships Radha, it's called Radhya, while Miraya means a devotee of Lord Krishna. Both the girls have that in common and I love how Radhya and Miraya sound together. Celebrations had begun the moment we learnt that I was expecting. And the closer you get to the due date, the excitement in the house increases. Now, my sister (Ahana) and sisters-inlaw will decorate the house.”

She further added, “My sister and I shared a room for a long time, and so did my husband and his younger brother. We are going to get the girls to share the nursery that Noorien (Jumani, interior designer) had designed for us earlier. Now, she has tweaked the interiors to make room for Miraya. The girls are going to share a lot of things, from doll houses to clothes. We are also getting a play room ready.”
Speaking about her elder daughter Radhaya, Esha revealed that she is excited about having a sister. She concluded saying, "The day she figured out that my stomach was getting bigger, we told her about the baby and she had been excited about it ever since. I am sure she will be a wonderful elder sister.”
