Esha Gupta is popular on social media due to the sizzling pictures she shares on Instagram. After appearing in movies like Rustom and Commando, the sultry actress is now keen to experiment with her characters. She was last seen in the comedy film, Total Dhamaal. Esha now wants to go beyond playing a glam girl. As per reports, she is all set to play a tough cop in Ashok Nanda's upcoming action drama, One Day.

The actress was recently trolled after her racist comment against Arsenal’s Nigerian footballer, Alexander Iwobi.  has time and again been trolled on social media. Esha Gupta had shared a screen shot of her WhatsApp chat with a friend on her Insta story, where the actress’ friend called Iwobi “gorilla faced” and said “evolution stopped for him.” Esha replied to her friend saying, “Haha... I don’t know why they don’t bench him more.” As soon as the actress posted this, netizens took screen grabs in no time and started trolling her as racist.


The actress was attacked to point where had to disable her Instagram comment section for certain posts. Talking about it, Esha said, "Trollers are basically people who have literally nothing better going on for themselves. So, they get online and start pulling down others who are actually trying to make a difference. Their trolls are not always restricted only to celebrities."

"If I'm bothered by a nobody's opinion about my morals, it will be my fault. I believe if we are blessed enough by God to get a name and a platform where what we say will be heard, then it should be used to say things which matter, not just for promoting films," the actress concluded.
