Yesterday, a video of actress Rakul Preet Singh made it to the internet. In the video, we see the actress all masked stepping out of a medical store. However, on the internet, the video circulated with the message that Rakul stepped out to buy alcohol. For two days, the Government eased the lockdown and gave permission for the wine shops to open. However, due to the chaos that followed, wine shops were warned to shut again. Coming back to Rakul's video, in the media circuit, the video first circulated with the message stating that it is Deepika Padukone who stepped out to buy alcohol.

KRK Box Office tweeted the video asking if Rakul stepped out to buy alcohol. To this, Rakul responded saying, "Oh wow ! I wasn’t aware that medical stores were selling alcohol." On this, a netizen left a comment saying, "And this was circulated as Deepika Padukone buying alcohol on WhatsApp. Summarises everything you hear through WhatsApp university."

Many of were of opinion that even if the ladies step out to buy alcohol, what's wrong in it? A netizen wrote, "Even if she did, what's wrong? Lol. Twitter university ain't any better. Saw someone shaming common people for buying it." Another one wrote, "Even if rakul preet or deepika buying an alcohol what's your problem?????????There is nothing wrong in buying and drinking alcohol."








Well, the fact is, neither Deepika Padukone nor Rakul Preet Singh stepped out of their homes to buy alcohol. The video was of Rakul who paid a visit to the medical store to buy essentials, observing all the precautions. That's very much it.
