Farah Khan On Raveena Tandon Calling Her Before 'Tip Tip Barsa Pani Remix' Release: 'Yeh Mereko Phone Kar Kar Ke Bolti Thi, Tu Maa Ki A***K Mat Karna Iss Gaane Ki’
Farah Khan revealed that Raveena Tandon gave her the most pressure before the release of ‘Tip Tip Barsa Pani remix’
‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani’, the iconic and sensuous song from 1994 blockbuster Mohra, has always been synonymous with Raveena Tandon. The peppy track showed sensuous rain dance and of course, Raveena and Akshay Kumar’s sizzling chemistry-that set tongues wagging. The song was recreated in Rohit Shetty's directorial Sooryavanshi with Katrina Kaif stepping into Raveena’s shoes. Now, during her recent appearance on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, Farah Khan, who choreographed the remix, revealed that she got calls from Raveena saying not to mess it up with the song.
While talking to Kapil, Farah said it was Raveena who gave her the most pressure after she decided to recreate the song. The dancer stated, “Yeh mereko phone kar kar ke bolti thi, ‘Tu maa ki a***h mat karna iss gaane ki’ (She would keep calling and telling me not to mess it up).” Farah also mentioned that when the Tip Tip Barsa Pani remix was released, Raveena was the first person who called her and said, “Faru, you have done a superb job and Katrina is looking superb.”
Host Kapil then asked Raveena Tandon if the praise was genuine. The actress first jokingly said no but then added that she was quite sure that if someone else would have done the song, they would have messed it up, but she was confident that Farah would keep the respect and grace intact. And, she indeed did it by doing full justice to the song.
Last week, Farah Khan and Raveena Tandon appeared on the show The Kapil Sharma Show and made some candid confessions. The Aranyak actress also set the stage on fire as she grooved to her hit number Tip Tip Barsa Paani with Farah and Kapil.
