Farah Khan SLAMS Bollywood Stars Again: ‘It's Not A Global Party Guys, Can’t Flaunt Privilege At This Time’
Amid Coronavirus pandemic, several Bollywood stars have been sharing workout videos, food and cooking videos, and much more on their social media accounts. However, many celebs have also raised objections about the same. Farah Khan, Sania Mirza and a few others were of the opinion that flaunting privilege at a time when masses of people are suffering, is wrong. Farah Khan even took to her social media a few weeks ago pleading with the celebrities to stop with their workout videos.

Now, Farah Khan has once again blasted the B-Town celebs for flaunting their privileges while the world battles a major crisis. In an interview with Rajeev Masand, Farah Khan said that she wanted to apologize to anyone who got scared by her rant. “. I know I took off. Please workout. I walk one hour around the balcony every day. I was disturbed with the frivolity of the situation. It’s not a global party guys, it’s a global pandemic.” She further added that there are other things people can do, and since everyone wanted to be seen on Instagram, it just seemed a little shallow.

“We already don’t have a great reputation for being an industry that is deep thinking, even though a lot of people do so much good and contribution. It just seemed like everything was about ‘look at me, look at me,’” said Farah Khan.

She said that this isn’t aimed at any particular celebrity, but she felt like people could be figuring out a way to help neighbors or to send food to people in trying times like these. “My daughters are 12 years old, they are figuring out how to feed stray dogs. My son is stressed and wants to write songs about something that can help. So, you can't flaunt your privilege at this time. I know you can but you should not," she said.

Several Bollywood celebrities such as Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Arjun Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Malaika Arora, and many others have been sharing their ‘workout from home’ videos on social media ever since the lockdown was put in place.
