Farhan Akhtar and girlfriend Shibani Dandekar have found themselves in the centre of controversies, ever since actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden and untimely demise, for extending their support to his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. The couple also got brutally trolled on social media, mainly after Shibani spoke in Rhea’s support and slammed SSR’s former ladylove Ankita Lokhande. Now, days after Rhea’s arrest, Farhan Akhtar reacted to news that late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s cook Keshav is working for him and slammed the news reports.

The Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara actor re-tweeted a tweet made by a social media user that saw a picture of news reported by Republic on the TV. The social media user shared the TV picture and wrote, “Breaking news... Neeraj at Sara Ali Khan's house and Keshav at Farhan's house. But why they r employing the suspects?? @FarOutAkhtar #CBIFiles302InSSRCase #SushantSinghRajputCase.” As the bulletin read that SSR’s cook Keshav has finally been found, the user alleged that Keshav is working at Farhan Akhtar’s house and questioned why he has employed a suspect.

Farhan Akhtar reacted and tweeted, “For the record: I have no person named Keshav working at mine. Unsurprisingly, another lie by a fake news channel famous for peddling lies. Please stop being so gullible. Just because a guy screams it out on TV doesn’t make it true.” Akhtar placed his statement on record and confirmed that he has no person named Keshav working at his house. He then said he is not surprised by ‘another lie’ and asked to stop being so gullible.

Meanwhile, reportedly, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probing the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput is considering adding murder charge under IPC Section 302. Apart from that, so far, Rhea Chakraborty who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection to the drugs angle in the SSR death case, is remanded to judicial custody till October 6.
