‘Apna time ayega’ seems to be turning into a reality for the team of team Gully Boy, as only recently it was revealed that this Zoya Akhtar directorial has emerged as India’s official entry for the upcoming edition of Academy Awards AKA Oscars 2020. And today, on the filmmaker’s 47th birthday, her brother and actor Farhan Akhtar’s birthday wish revolved around the same topic and was, undoubtedly, adorable. Taking to his Instagram account, the Toofan actor penned a heartwarming note. While the filmmaker showed her wide grin, Farhan was busy staring at her. However, it was his caption that turned out to be the highlight for us. Other than wishing all the good things for her, Farhan also hoped that Zoya Akhtar brings the Oscar this year. “Happy birthday @zoieakhtar .. may you get all that your heart desires. Bas Oscar le aana .. Love you,” read his caption.

On the work front, Farhan Akhtar’s latest release The Sky Is Pink, which also stars Priyanka Chopra, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in the lead roles, had hit the big screens on October 11, 2019.
