On Shibani Dandekar’s birthday, her partner Farhan Akhtar posted a sweet wish for her, while she flaunted her new ink of his name
Birthdays are a special day in everyone’s life and it’s up to the people around them to make them more special. And that’s what Farhan Akhtar did for partner, model-actress-VJ Shibani Dandekar. As she turns a year older today, Farhan took to his Instagram to share a loved-up picture of the couple, in an aesthetic black-and-white frame, captioning it, “With all my heart…happy birthday Shu. Love you.”
However, it seems like instead of getting a gift from Farhan, the actress took it upon herself to surprise the actor with a return gift of her own. Shibani took to her Instagram stories to flaunt her new ink, Farhan’s name, that she has gotten on her neck.
The couple has been in a relationship since 2018 and the duo has never shied away from flaunting their love in front of the world, be it online through their social media or in the real world. Recently, when Farhan announced his next directorial, Jee Le Zaraa, with Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, Shibani couldn’t contain her excitement and put her thoughts into words on Instagram, saying, “To watch your process as an actor was nothing short of incredible and now I’m beyond excited to be able to see you direct! This is huge! Congrats Foo.”
Shibani has gelled well with Farhan’s family as well as she has been a part of all different festival celebrations at his household. Farhan’s father, renowned writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar had also gone on to rave about the new addition to their family, saying that he has met Shibani many times and she is a really sweet girl. Last year, there were multiple rumours about the couple taking the plunge, but they all turned out to be false.
