Farhan Akhtar and actor-host Shibani Dandekar exchanged wedding vows on February 19 in an intimate ceremony with their family and close friends in attendance. The couple has been making headlines for quite some time now owing to their wedding festivities and functions. The newly-wed is currently enjoying the new chapter of their lives and keep their fans updated on social media. Recently Farhan shared his first date experience with Shibani and called it ‘awkward’.
The couple dated for almost 4 years but never shared their love story. In an interaction with CNN News 18, Farhan recalled his first date experience with his ladylove that was awkward and full of silence. He was quoted saying, “It was very awkward. Shibani tells people how she could hear the sound of the cutlery cutting on the plate. It was so quiet. I wasn’t talking at all and she had run out of all topics in her head,”
A few days ago, Farhan had posted an adorable picture with Shibani from his wedding on Instagram where the lovebirds were seen laughing their heart out. The ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ actor captioned the post, “Tum hastee raho bas yuhin, main yuhin bas dekhta rahoon @shibanidandekar .”
The dotting wife was quick to respond to the post and wrote, “love you. thank you for filling my life with love and laughter.”
Talking about his first-month marriage experience with Shibani, Farhan told India Today, “I don’t know if it feels any different. Shibani and I have been together for many years now. So, on some level, this puts some kind of an official tag to it. It has been since we started dating and we’ve taken this to another level together.
