Farhan Akhtar’s house is getting decked up for the big day and it is being decorated with lights and flowers to welcome the bride after her Bidai.
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are all set to tie the knot soon and the wedding preparations are in full swing at the couple’s residence, respectively. Now, we finally have a glimpse of the decorations at the ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ actor’s house.
As per a recent ETimes report, Farhan's house is getting decked up for the big day and it is being decorated with lights and flowers to welcome the bride after her Bidai.
However, the couple and their families are being discreet about the wedding celebrations, keeping all details under wraps. If reports are to be believed, before Farhan and Shibani register their marriage, they have also decided to have a traditional Maharashtrian function.
As per a report in Hindustan Times, the families will get together at the Akhtar farmhouse in Khandala to celebrate this union.
“The family has been extremely discreet about this wedding as they don’t want the media to turn up at the venue. Only family members have been invited. It is still unclear how things are planned, as everything is under wraps. But in most probability, it will be a Maharashtrian wedding,” a source was quoted as saying by the publication.
It also added that the wedding is touted to be a daytime event on February 19.
Several reports suggest that celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Ritesh Sidhwani, Hrithik Roshan, Rhea Chakraborty and Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra might attend the couple's big day.
A previous ETimes report quoted Farhan's mother Honey Irani, expressing her excitement for the wedding as she said, "It's a joyous occasion and I am looking forward to it. In fact, everyone in the family is looking forward to it. We are very excited."
