It’s the season of weddings in Bollywood and the new name that has been added to the list is Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar. After being in a four-year-long relationship, the duo has decided to walk down the aisle on 21st February. The two have been painting the town red with their mushy romance ever since they had made their relationship official. The couple's wedding was confirmed by Javed Akhtar a couple of days ago. And, now Farhan’s mother Honey Irani has spoken about their marriage and revealed some exciting details about it.
While speaking to E-Times, Farhan’s mother stated that it's a joyous occasion for the entire family and that she is quite excited and is looking forward to it. When quizzed about how she learned about Farhan-Shibani’s relationship, Honey revealed that the couple had invited them for a dinner and told them that they want to marry.
Honey Irani was quoted as saying, “The most important thing is that they are both very happy. I just hope they have a wonderful life; it's really nice to see they are tying the knot now. They were very serious about each other. But frankly, today, couples take some time before making the decision on marriage. We respect that. We are not the interfering types. Shibani and Farhan are both mature. We would have approved of whatever they wanted.”
While showering heaps of praise on her to-be-daughter-in-law, the actor’s mother stated that Shibani is lovely, pleasant, and gorgeous. Honey Irani concluded by saying that they both are madly in love with each other and she hopes they make and keep each other happy.
