Lovebirds Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are all set to exchange wedding vows in an intimate ceremony on February 21. The wedding, which will reportedly take place at Javed's family home in Khandala, will be attended by their family members and a few close pals. Preparations for the same have begun and needless to say, all eyes are on this hyped wedding with every minute detail regarding the ceremony making headlines. Now, as per the latest buzz, Farhan and Shibani will have a traditional wedding this Saturday, 19 February.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, the couple will get married as per Maharashtrian rituals at Akhtar’s farmhouse in Khandala, Maharashtra this weekend ahead of their civil wedding. A source close to the development was quoted saying, “The family has been extremely discreet about this wedding as they don’t want the media to turn up at the venue. Only family members have been invited. It is still unclear how things are planned, as everything is under wraps. But in most probability, it will be a Maharashtrian wedding.”
The report added that the family will leave for Khandala on the evening of February 18, and the wedding will be a daytime affair with Dandekar’s sisters and close friends taking the charge of the pre-wedding festivities. The pre-wedding rituals and bachelorette will reportedly be held from today.
After dating each other for 4 years, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar have decided to settle down and will register their wedding at their Bandra house on February 21.
