Farhan Escapes Serious Fire Accident

A major accident was averted on Saturday on the sets of Excel's upcoming film Rock On 2!!
A crucial fire sequence was to be filmed at Mumbai's Film City with lead star Farhan Akhtar navigating the tumultuous shot. However, before the production figured, the actor found himself trapped in a hut surrounded by wild bouts of fire.
"There was just too much smoke and the worst part was that Farhan was bare-bodied," a source present on the sets told SpotboyE.com.
Alarm bells were sounded off and efforts were made to douse the fire and rescue the leading man. "Fortunately, there were resources on the sets to take care of the situation and before things could go horribly wrong, the situation was brought under control. The shoot came to a halt and Farhan had to be given first aid treatment," added the source.
Farhan did not shoot any other scene after that. A pack-up was promptly announced.
As things stand now, the sequence in question will be reshot this week.
"It will be done in a more controlled environment as nobody wants to take chances now. If need be, Excel will use VFX to recreate the fire," revealed the source.
Farhan put his life in the line of fire. Literally.
